Cabin Resort
Firefly Pendant 26—Paul D. Braun
After a long cutscene, ride your horse until you can’t anymore. Head into the house and look for supplies. Exit the house by going to the right and head over to the gazebo to find firefly pendant 26—Paul D. Braun.
Next, head all the way to the back of this area and up the stairs. There are guards here so either sneak by or take them out. Shimmy your way across to get to the other side.
Comic 11—Negentropy
Once on the other side, go around until you find a small tunnel. On the other side of the tunnel, go left and up some stairs. On a bench facing the lake, you’ll find comic 11—Negentropy.
The second tunnel is blocked so you have to unblock it from the outside before heading in. On the other side is an area with some bad guys and a house. As always, either take them out or sneak your way around the left side of the house. There are two garbage bins. You can use one to get up into the house or pull the second one away from the house and drop in.
Be careful of some guys by the window on the right. They’ll wait for you and start shooting so be ready to fight or run. There are more guys throughout the house. Dispose of them and attempt to leave out the front of the house.
Joel finally wakes up and you play has him. There’s ammo nearby if you need it and supplies are in the garage. Exit the garage and make your way down the road. You’ll get into a shootout with some guys subtly letting you know you’re going the right way. Wherever there are guys, shoot them and go in that direction. You’ll eventually see a house you can enter where you’ll find health and parts. You need to go up the alley on the left side of the house.
After a cutscene, you’ll be playing as Ellie again. Follow the left edge of the map until you find a door you can open. You’re supposed to go left in this room but going straight will lead you to a much needed med kit.
Unblock the door leading left and enter a store. You only have your switchblade so be careful. You can easily avoid all these guys if you follow the left edge of the map. Go out the back of the left store and up until you hear a bell.
This area is really confusing because of the visibility and numerous paths that it seems you have. Go up the stairs and then just hug the left side of the map until you make it to a building. Keep hugging the left area until you make it to a dumpster that you can use to get into the building by climbing on it.
Boss Fight—David
Once inside, there’s a med kit near the entrance. There’s not much else to do so just make your way to the front of the building and attempt to leave again. You’ll be stopped by David again but this time it’s the final showdown. The rules for this fight are easy. Sneak up on David 3 times and attack him. Be careful as there are broken plates scattered around that will alert David to your location. He also switches up his tactics each time. Once he’s taken care of, it’s back to Joel.
Shiv Door 11, Training Manual 11—Smoke: Shaping
If you follow the left side of the map, you’ll eventually make your way to shiv door 11 which contains supplies, parts, ammo, and training manual 11—Smoke: Shaping.
Now head out the shed and follow the sound of the bell. It’ll lead you to a Conex. There are guards all around. Once past the Conex, stick to the right side of the map until you find a door. Joel should automatically close the door.
Artifact 77—Ellie’s Backpack
As soon as you walk into the room, Joel will see and pick up artifact 77—Ellie’s Backpack.
Artifact 78—Meat Ledger
To your right is artifact 78—Meat Ledger.
Go out the room via the plastic strips on your left and exit out the store.
You’ll switch back to Ellie. The rest of the chapter is simply pressing the buttons when prompted. After that, it’s an emotional reunion between Joel and Ellie.
